Expression of Interest
Farm to School BC Project Funding

We’re inviting Expressions of Interest for a $1,000 school grant to support projects that empower schools to cultivate food literacy and inspire K–12 students to explore, learn, and grow through hands-on food experiences.

Three grants are currently available! ~ Deadline: March 20, 2026

We encourage all K-12 schools to apply, including First Nations, Rural and Remote schools.

• Rural schools: in communities with a population of less than 20,000.
• Remote schools: in communities with a population of less than 1,000
• First Nations schools: a school located on-reserve and operated and administered by one or more First Nations in BC.

Schools will be randomly selected, and those chosen will be invited to complete a short follow-up application with a few more details about their project.
