Farm to Cafeteria Canada

• This draw is limited to Canadian preschools, schools or campuses. Representatives of any preschool, primary, middle, secondary, public, private school or campus in Canada that engages students in a farm or local food to school activity during the month of October 2018 are ENCOURAGED to register.

• The preschool, school or campus must have participated in at least one #DigInCanada activity as part of Farm to School month Canada between October 1-31, 2018.

• The online registration form above must be completely filled out for each preschool, school or campus that participated in an activity to celebrate Farm to School Month Canada.

• One photo must be submitted illustrating the way your school was “Digging In” during Farm to School Month Canada OR a link to a social media post that includes a photo about your F2S activities must be provided. Use the hashtag #digincanada in your post. The photos must be colour and high resolution and must depict students engaged in the activity. By participating, you are consenting Farm to Cafeteria Canada to use the photo provided.

• Along with the photo, you must share (1-2 sentences) why your school is excited about (or inspired by) farm and local food to school activities.

• For each photo submitted on the online form, consent must be given by filling out your name and date.

•Applicants must add their preschool, school or campus to our National School Food Map here: ( . If you have previously entered your school on our map, please make sure your information is up to date by searching for your school at the link above.

• The applicant must be 19 years of age or older.

• The applicant must check off the boxes at the bottom of the registration form that indicate he/she has submitted a photo, added consent for each photo submitted and that he/she has read and agrees with the terms and conditions for the prize draw.

• The registration deadline is 11:59 pm (Pacific Standard Time) – October 31, 2018.

*By registering, you could be entered to win one of three $1,500 grants. Detailed instructions, and eligibility are included in the registration formThose who wish to #DigInCanada but are not representing a school are encouraged to participate, however; only K-12 schools are eligible for the seed grants.
